Operator method in solving non-linear equations of the Hartree–Fock type
نویسندگان
چکیده
The operator method is used to construct the solutions of the problem of the polaron in the strong coupling limit and of the helium atom on the basis of the Hartree–Fock equation. E0 = −0.108 512 8052α2 is obtained for the polaron ground-state energy. Energies for 2s and 3s states are also calculated. The other excited states are briefly discussed.

A new iteration method for solving a class of Hammerstein type integral equations system
In this work, a new iterative method is proposed for obtaining the approximate solution of a class of Hammerstein type Integral Equations System. The main structure of this method is based on the Richardson iterative method for solving an algebraic linear system of equations. Some conditions for existence and unique solution of this type equations are imposed. Convergence analysis and error bou...
متن کاملA matrix LSQR algorithm for solving constrained linear operator equations
In this work, an iterative method based on a matrix form of LSQR algorithm is constructed for solving the linear operator equation $mathcal{A}(X)=B$ and the minimum Frobenius norm residual problem $||mathcal{A}(X)-B||_F$ where $Xin mathcal{S}:={Xin textsf{R}^{ntimes n}~|~X=mathcal{G}(X)}$, $mathcal{F}$ is the linear operator from $textsf{R}^{ntimes n}$ onto $textsf{R}^{rtimes s}$, $ma...
متن کاملAsymptotic Regularity of Solutions of Hartree-Fock Equations with Coulomb Potential
We study the asymptotic regularity of solutions of Hartree-Fock equations for Coulomb systems. In order to deal with singular Coulomb potentials, Fock operators are discussed within the calculus of pseudo-differential operators on conical manifolds. First, the non-self-consistent-field case is considered which means that the functions that enter into the nonlinear terms are not the eigenfunctio...
متن کاملA Fortran 90 program to solve the Hartree-Fock equations for interacting spin-1/2 fermions confined in harmonic potentials
A set of weakly interacting spin-1 2 Fermions, confined by a harmonic oscillator potential, and interacting with each other via a contact potential, is a model system which closely represents the physics of a dilute gas of two-component fermionic atoms confined in a magneto-optic trap. In the present work, our aim is to present a Fortran 90 computer program which, using a basis set expansion te...
متن کاملMean Field Methods for Atomic and Nuclear Reactions: The Link between Time–Dependent and Time–Independent Approaches
Three variants of mean field methods for atomic and nuclear reactions are compared with respect to both conception and applicability: The time–dependent Hartree–Fock method solves the equation of motion for a Hermitian density operator as initial value problem, with the colliding fragments in a continuum state of relative motion. With no specification of the final state, the method is restricte...
